Week 1: Communicating in High School
Communicating in High School is very difficult, depending on who you are trying to communicate with. Sometimes it will feel like nobody's listening even when you try to communicate. When you pass by the people in high school sometimes they ignore you or you won't even know them. Communicating is hard in high school when you try to talk to a teacher because you feel like they're going to judge you or be upset with you. It's even harder to talk to friends because your friends at the end might not even be there for you anymore because of the way you communicate with them or how little you communicate with them. But throughout it all communication is the key to life. If we don't communicate in high school then we won't have friends, won't know how to do our work and won't know how to speak up. But it still is hard.

Communicating is key to some doors but sometimes it's better to stay quiet and learn what and how the things run. I also think that you should not worry how the people look at you because no one is going to be likeable by everyone.
ReplyDeleteYes, communicating in high school can sometimes be very difficult in high school. Teens are always to busy to take a first minutes to listen to their peers around them. Sometimes it harder to express your feelings towards other people.

ReplyDeleteI also think some people don't like being social. Sometimes it is scary talking to someone new.
ReplyDeleteYes i believe not everyone is the same when it gets to communicating some of us are better at it than others. I also think that there are many people who don't want to make friends and when you try communicating with them they ignore you.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you communication is the key to life. I also agree that we get intimidated trying to communicate with teachers because we fear they'd judge what we say.
ReplyDeleteAlyssa, you made many interesting points on this topic. High school brings a lot of challenges to each of you and communicating is one of them. Since this time period in all of your lives is a time to experience trial and error, communicating can become quite intimidating, but yet, if we don't make efforts with our peers, supervisors, and new acquaintances we will never know more or what might have been!
