Week 5: Do You Have To Be Friends With Your Co-Workers?

I believe that you don't have to be friends with your co-workers because it would distract you and you would mess around more. But I also believe that you should be friends with your co-workers because they will have more respect for you and you wont feel uncomfortable at work. You also wont feel like your working around strangers. But in conclusion no you don't have to be friends with your co-workers. If they give the effort and try to be friends then i believe you should. It would make work fun and you will never feel alone or bored.

  2. Sometimes, it is true that if you have very good friends at work you might get distracted. We have to try and not to mix a lot of friendship fun while working.

  3. I think it does help to make friends at work because it will definitely make work more bearable. However, things don't always work out but their should at least be respect between you and your co-workers.

  4. I think co-workers should socialize professionally at work, sort of the way we as students socialize with our partners in class. We work together and get our work done but outside of class we never see each other.
